The business model
The parts other apps sell back to you
A dating app makes money by making the free version worse. That business model needs you to keep looking.

What we will not do
Three rules that settle every argument
When a feature is proposed and the room disagrees, these are what decide it.
Nothing sits behind a payment
If a feature exists to take money from a lonely person, it does not ship. No subscription, no boosts, no fee to see who likes you.
Safety is not a premium tier
Verification, reporting, blocking and photo scanning run on every account. Safety that only covers the people who paid protects nobody.
You are not the product
No ads, no trackers, nothing about you sold. Your exact location never leaves the server, and nobody is ever sent another person's coordinates.
Getting started
How it works
1
Prove you are a person
A selfie in a pose we ask for, matched to your photos. It happens before anyone can see you, and it is what keeps the bots out.
2
See who is nearby
Pick your distance and age range. You see everyone who fits, ordered by who was here most recently, not by who paid.
3
Talk when you both agree
A conversation opens only when you both say yes. Either of you can unmatch, block or report from any screen.
The unglamorous half
Most of the work nobody advertises
The parts that decide whether a dating app is safe are the parts you never see.
Every photo is checked for illegal and adult content before anyone sees it.
Blocking reaches everywhere at once, so a blocked account cannot find another way through.
Reports go to a queue a person reads, and that person never gets a general view of your messages.
Your location is rounded before it is saved. Other people only ever see a rounded distance.
Funded by donations. Licensed so it stays that way.
